Performance Analysis Quadrants (PAQ) Tool An interactive version of the PAQ tool. The PAQ supports root cause analysis of performance problems, helping classify the primary "quadrant" of the problem as selection (hiring the wrong person/people for the job), motivation (not properly incentivising desired behavior), resources and/or environment (not supporting the desired behavior with appropriate systems and tools), or training (the person/people have not been properly educated on how to perform the job). This version of the tool also provides some basic intervention strategies for each quadrant. |

Performance Improvement Intervention Options So you've conducted your PAQ and determined the root cause of your peformance problem. Now you turn to this listing of key options for Resource Environment, Training, and/or Communication interventions to help guide users to select appropriate intervention strategies to solve performance problems. |

Instructional Methods & Strategies One of Charles Reigeluth's goals is to bring consistent use of language and terminology to our field (this is an underlying purpose behind his three volume set of Instruction-Design Theories and Models collections of articles). This page provides a table of terms and definitions, reflecting a part of Reigeluth's work. |
